Convocation 2008

This is the year that most of my friends graduate! We all graduated as professionals.. accountants, engineers etc in July.. the future awaits us..

SMU kicks start the convocation mood for me with Shuyuan graduating.. and I went there with Sheena and Lifang.. We met yuan's fren (vicky) and went to the suntec convention hall tog w her. Inside the hall, I saw Alvina and it dawn upon me that my nanyang frens in smu also graduating that day!!! Called sijia after that wanting to see her in her robe but she left already.. Here's me n alvina.. Alvina n Sijia both sat beside me in Sec. 3 & 4 and most of my upper sec. times were spent with them. Then, we started drifting apart.. when I can't get into HC.. but well.. shouldn't dwell upon it.. it's all history.. we've all graduated!

MSE Convocation Ceremony (25th July 2008)

After the ceremony, we proceeded upstairs for the Reception n photo taking.. Here's some photos with Seannie before she rushed off to meet XiaoJun. Thanks gal for coming to attend my Convocation and share my graduating moments! Seannie.. your makeup skill is very good! Next time teach me k.. hee.. and you look very nice in skirt.. Thanks for looking pretty on my special day!

The most important person in my life! Remember dear about the most important person poster which I gave u? You are really the most important person in my life and my convocation is an important event in my life. Thanks for being part of it and thanks for the roses you bought for me! *love*

My parents.. who supported me through my 16years of education! Thanks alot! Finally I graduated!

The last person whom I would like to thank is Sheena! She's a very GREAT fren who is forever supporting of me and puts in great effort to stay in touch. Thanks for coming and thanks for helping me capture so many fond memories which I can look back on in future.Graduate Shufang & Zihui! hee.. Thanks Zihui for coming over to my reception area to find me to take photo.. because I'm not the kind of person who will walk around to find pple to take photos with. I'm the one who walks around n if I bump into anyone then just take photo.

With Prof Ma Ja, Dear's current FYP prof and my sch's academic chairman or something.. can't rem.. He remembers me very clearly because I lodged an appeal against another prof to him. Then he sat down and chatted with me with respect to all the things I m unhappy with the sch etc.. and I told him about alot of unfair systems in the sch. Then I told dear that he's a very caring prof and I believe in what he told me. A prof I hold great respect for.

With Alfred Tok, my FYP prof.. He's a very nice prof.. he shaked hands with my parents to congratulate them.. which I think it's a very graceful act and makes me respect him too.

My favourite prof, Dr Lance Li is not at the reception that day. Think maybe too many people then he left or maybe he's busy. He taught me all my semiconductor modules and I really learnt alot from him. He inspires me to go into this field too! Hope one day I can become as knowledgeable as him. Okie.. I caught a photo of him on stage though.. haha.. that's him!

Outside MSE Convocation Reception Area.. the buffet was quite pathetic I feel.. my parents didn't get to eat much.. n my frens didn't eat anything also.. Feels abit bad because asked them to come.. then they waited so long for my ceremony to end and were feeling hungry from the long wait.

After that, went JP Soup Restaurant to celebrate my graduation with Sheena & James. This is taken after our very filling n happy dinner!

Hat Throwing Time!!! After much attempts, I managed to throw on time with them. *Yeah!*

Lying down on the grass, in a circle.. I like this group shot most! Don't you? Very pretty to see our hood connects together into a circle.. and us looking up into the sky.. Freedom, Serenity, Happiness can be this simple.

p/s: lying on the grass is not that comfortable actually.. lol.. because the grass is quite spiky.. hee.. =p

After taking so much photos at esplanade, we paraded over to merlion side in our robes!!! Silly stuff we did together.. it was a long walk to merlion in heels & all.. and we had to walk fast in order to take some day shots before the night falls..
